Prayer Blessing 8 Aug 08

While the world was waiting for the Beijing Olympics to kickstart on 8 August 2008 (08.08.08), MGSS held a Prayer Blessing for the non-Muslim PMR and SPM students on that auspicious date at 8 a.m. (the Muslim students had a Solat Hajat in the New Hall, Tan Cheng Lock also at the same time). The Prayer Blessing was held for the first time in the Bickley Hall which stands in the MGS Primary 1 compound. It was an uplifting time for all and I am very sure that each of us were "blessed because we came".

2. Mdm. Tan Lay Heong (the Senior Assistant for Co-curriculum and also Prayer Blessing co-ordinator) with the girls singing the rousing songs of praise.

3. A dance item led by Esperanza Ng and Eunice Teoh. A very touching dance which reminded us of the extent of our Lord Jesus' love for us.

4. Dr. Lim Boon Hock, the Executive Director of Methodist Council of Education, was the speaker that morning.
